=============================On Friday, a massive protest rally popularly known as Ajisai (or Hydrangea) Revolution took place in front of the Prime Minister’s Office, protesting against the restart of the Ohi nuclear power plant in Fukui Prefecture. The rally was organized by The Metropolitan Anti-Nuclear Power Coalition and mobilized about 200,000 people according to the organizers, while the Police estimated 15,000.
Because tens of thousands of people were to expected, we stayed in one location near the traffic signal in front of the Prime Minister’s Office, and followed the event as the time flows. To share these images to the global audience we’ve added some subtitles in English at key places.
