【ストリートアート】#BCTION ビル９階分のストリートアート　９月最後の週末にアンコールオープン This Weekend Is The Last Chance To See 9-Story Full of Street Art in Yotsuya, Tokyo

取り壊しが決まっている四谷にある９階建てのビルを利用し、アーティストやボランティアスタッフが中心となりDIYで行ったアートイベント「#BCTION」が９月最後の週末２７日、２８日に１３時から２０時までアンコールオープンする。DJもプレイする音楽＋アートイベントとなる。

 

A team of artists and volunteers turned the 9-story building in Yotsuya, Tokyo into the street art heaven. They call it “BCTION.” And this weekend, Sep 27^th and 28^th, is the last chance to experience the building full of street art. There will be DJ playing music. The building will be demolished in the future.

 

また、ウェブ上には物理的には存在しない架空の「１０階」が存在する。「#BCTION #10」はビルが取り壊された後も残り、インターネット上のスペースをストリートと捉え、誰でも参加できるインタラクティブでオープンなインターネット上のストリートアートプロジェクトとして続く。参加方法などは「#BCTION #10」のサイトに掲載されている。

 

Also there is an imaginary 10^th floor on the Internet. This “10^th Floor” will remain after the physical building gets demolished. Anybody can participate by using the hush tag “#BCTION #10F.” They see this as the street art on the Internet because its sense of freedom and the openness resemble to the street art.
