安倍政権は７月１日に憲法を無視して集団的自衛権を閣議決定する見通し。海外での武力行使（戦争）解禁まで秒読みとなり、街では連日デモなどの反対運動が起こっている。
Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s regime plans to unconstitutionally adopt the “right to collective self-defense” at a Cabinet meeting on July 1st. After Japan lost the war in 1945, Japan adopted the Peace Constitution, and it clearly stated that Japan’s self-defense force will never uses its force to invade or solve conflicts in foreign places. Self-defense force is and was strictly for the self-defense. But without going through the legal process, PM Abe is going to turn it around so Japan can exercise its force much more freely. There have been many protests against PM Abe’s regime.
６月２９日、午後２時頃には、背広姿の男性が新宿南口付近の歩行者用の鉄橋の鉄骨の上に座り、１人拡声器で集団的自衛権に反対の主張を約１時間した後、焼身自殺を図った。
On June 29th, around 2 p.m. near the South exit of Shinjuku station, a man in a black suit put himself on fire on the reinforced arch after protesting against the right to collective self-defense for about an hour.
同日午後３時頃からは、「安倍いやね！激おこぷんぷんマーチ」がブラスバンドの音を響かせ、カラフルなサインを掲げながら街を行進。デモの終盤は激しい雨に見舞われるが、音楽も踊りも止めずに行進は続いた。多くの人々が見つめる中、参加者達は集団的自衛権をはじめ、武器輸出の解禁、消費税増税、原発再稼働、秘密保護法、残業代ゼロ、TPP、沖縄への基地の押しつけや東京オリンピックなど、安倍自民の様々な政策に抗議した。
Around 3 p.m., also in Shinjuku, protesters marched, blasted the music and held colorful signs. Towards the end it rained heavily but they kept playing music, dancing and marching. They protested against varieties of PM Abe’s policies such as the right to collective self-defense, lifting a ban on the export of weapons, a consumption tax rise, reopening of nuclear power plants while Fukushima nuclear disaster is still on-going, the state secrecy law, no overtime pay, TPP, American military bases in Okinawa and Tokyo Olympic and such.
集団的自衛権閣議決定前日の６月３０日、午後６時３０分からは、首相官邸前で大規模抗議行動が予定されている。
On June 30th, the day before the ruling parties’ Cabinet meeting to adopt the right to collective self-defense, protesters plan to have a massive protest in front of the Prime Minister’s office from 6:30 p.m.
