Reporter: I have arrived in the Yokawa district of Himi City, Toyama Prefecture. As you can see, once you step into the mountains, landslides have occurred in various locations and continue to block the roads. Can you see it? There is a tunnel right behind me, but fallen trees are completely blocking the entrance.
Reporter: The area around the tunnel entrance is covered in a thick layer of sediment. Mud has accumulated significantly. Even inside the tunnel, you can see that the sediment has flowed deep into the interior.
